This course is especially created to help students get a world-view of life outside of the music field. It is a known fact that great musicians of yesteryears were not trained to be street-smart and eventually went broke due to various reasons.  This course will give students knowledge on managing their lives on various fronts, such as management of personal finance, career, relationships, time, skills, etc., in their daily lives.

At the end of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Market their music or musical products and interact with organisers, audiences, co-artists and others with élan

  • Manage time; self-promotion; negotiations, etc.

Mr Ulhas Joshi

A Post-graduate MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, with over four decades of Marketing & Sales management experience at leading multinationals. 

Currently Director at Stratex Enterprises, a marketing and sales advisory company focused on FMCG, Consumer healthcare & Pharmaceuticals. 

He is siiting Faculty at IIM Ahmedabad in the Marketing area, and also visiting faculty at other business schools in and around Mumbai.


Mr Vidhu Sharma | Trainer Consultant – Coach

An accomplished Leadership trainer, HR & OD Consultant and Executive Coach with a wide experience of 25 years in the industry.

Mr Sharma has a Master’s degree in labour studies from Mumbai University; Certificate course in Leadership Development from Kelly Institute of Management, Indiana, USA. 

Accredited MBTI, DISC, NLP, Emotional Intelligence, Certified Coach and Harrison Assessment Practitioner.

Trained in HR Transformation by Prof. Dave Ulrich and in Organization Development & Consulting by Prof. Naomi Stamford. Student of Scriptural studies at Chinmaya Mission. Pursuing a PhD in Management.

Dr Lakshmi K Varanasi

Retired as In Charge Principal of ICLES' Motilal Jhunjhunwala College, with 33+ years of academic and administrative experience.

Dr Lakshmi has a Master's degree in Commerce from Osmania University with a Distinction; has earned a Doctorate on Corporate Social Responsibility from Mumbai University and is an Executive MBA from NIBM.
