B.Com. (Honours) is a first-level degree that opens up multiple opportunities for the students as they graduate. Therefore, the course design seeks to impart valuable skill sets to the students in the areas of finance, accounting and taxation. The B.Com. (Honours) programme equips the students with key functional inputs and prepares them either to take up their first corporate job or facilitates them for a higher degree in the chosen subject of specialisation.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA) is the world’s most forward-thinking professional accountancy body offering the fastest-growing gateway to the accountancy profession. ACCA provides Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA or FCCA) in more than 170 countries. ACCA offers a promising career in the area of accounting, audit, finance, management and taxation, which is internationally recognised.
CVV has tied up with ACCA, UK. A student completing his/her B.Com. (Hons.) programme in CVV will get a 9 paper exemption (highest) granted by ACCA-UK). Moreover all the 13 papers of ACCA have been integrated with the curriculum of the B.Com. (Hons.) programme. The students can pursue ACCA training along with B.Com. (Hons) with a special fee package. It includes 15 days of ACCA training every semester.


As with all programmes, our B.Com. (Hons.) students are offered internship and placement support by the Placement Cell of the University.
