Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV) strives to inculcate the appropriate values and qualities required to participate in the competitions. Sports at CVV are played with much fervor and passion. University lays adequate emphasis on student participation in various outdoor and indoor games, track, and field events.

FACILITIES

The University provides a host of indoor & outdoor sports facilities for the students. Recreational facilities and indoor games like Chess, Table tennis which are meant to stimulate and invigorate the students intellectually and physically are available on campus.  The Department of Physical Education is committed to the idea of a healthier nation and keeping this view in mind conducts regular yoga sessions for all the students in the University. Yoga enhances the performance of the students; it helps them attain more economical physical activity through more fluent physical movements.

CVV INTRAMURAL COMPETITIONS 

The Annual Intramural Sports of CVV are planned around student interests to provide maximum opportunity for participation. CVV provides a diverse set of indoor and outdoor recreational sports, played to enrich the physical, social, and educational growth of students.  The CVV students are divided into four houses. All the houses have captains and vice-captains.  The house that gets the maximum points is declared as the champion and awarded the prestigious Vice-Chancellor Rolling trophy.
