The logo of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth is a composition of three elements: a lotus in blossom, the syllable Om which is the signature of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and a flame.
The Lotus in Bloom:
The purpose of education is to manifest the inner potential of human beings. The lotus symbolises the blossoming of the inner personality and the transformation of the individual through education. Education cultures the human being and that enables the blossoming of the inner personality.
The Unique Om:
The Om in the centre represents spiritual transformation wherein a person discovers his or her divine essence.
The Glowing Flame:
Education is not meant to fill up but to light us up because we are not vessels to be filled but lamps to be kindled. Therefore, in the centre, we have the flame of the Chinmaya Vision.
