In collaboration with the Young India Foundation (YIF), NSS@CVV organised a workshop on ‘Voter Enrollment’ on Wednesday, 17th January 2024. This workshop aimed at ensuring e that young voters of the country start to practice their civic duty during the general elections in 2024.
The Young India Foundation is focused on building active engagement amongst India’s youth and bringing their voices to the forefront of policy engagement with state and central policymaking through campaigns like #GetInked and #Why25.YIF is working with the Chief Electoral Officers of the states and other stakeholders to ensure the youth vote hits record numbers in 2024. Their programme on registering 25 million young voters and awareness towards their turnout on poll days, is named #GetInked.
