A webinar on ‘Job Prospects in the Renewable Energy Sector’ was organised by the School of Contemporary Knowledge Systems on 25 July 2021, as an outreach initiative.
The speaker, Sri. Jose Kallookaran C., Founder and MD, KC KOPAR Energy Solutions, started with a brief introduction to renewable energy in general and highlighted the relevance of the topic. He shared key points for those who are interested in pursuing a career in this field. All the information shared was backed by the data from various international agencies. The talk was followed by a Q&A session that stimulated a healthy discussion on the role of internships and the potential of biofuels.
The session was moderated by Assistant Professor Mr. Yathi Ajay. Assistant Professor Mr. Jayesh P. Nair summed up the salient points of the session and proposed a vote of thanks.
