With the aim of fostering a strong debating culture and promoting experiential learning, Debate Wing Of Creative and Debating Society hosted the Virtual Reality Day on November 6th. The event had virtual simulations of a Jurassic Park, Flying Simulation, Beach Simulation and Astronaut Space. Students entered the realm of virtual reality where they had an immersive experience while playing virtual reality games and navigating in the virtual world.
Post simulation and games, a fiery debate was conducted by moderators where members debated on the nature and existence of the reality from the lenses of science and spirituality. Virtual Reality Day concluded with a small discussion on the etymology and development of virtual reality. Undergraduate and postgraduate students participated actively in the event.
