Vidushi Manjusha Patil honoured with
Gaanasaraswati Puraskar
On 06 March 2022, Dr. Arun Dravid, the senior-most disciple of Gaana Saraswati Vidushi Kishori Amonkar, organised a programme to honour the artists Vidushi Anuradha Kuber and Vidushi Manjusha Patil (Guru and Professor, Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth) with the Gaanasaraswati Puraskar for the year 2021 and 2020 respectively. The programme was conducted at the Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre, Mumbai.
The evening commenced with the performance of Vidushi Anuradha Kuber followed by the award distribution ceremony. Both the artists expressed their feelings about receiving such an esteemed award. The event concluded with Vidushi Manjusha Patil’s recital in Raga Kamod, Raga Sohni and a Dadra in Raga Bhairavi.
