The School of Contemporary Knowledge Systems (CKS) organised a two-day hands-on workshop on Tally on 5th and 6th April 2024 at the Warriam Road facility for higher secondary students and graduates. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Abha Mohan, Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor from the School of CKS.
The workshop aimed to create awareness about computerised accounting and its implications for taxation procedures, with a special emphasis on GST. The workshop was a resounding success, with valuable insights shared about the use of Tally in the modern world, the basics of accounting, and the implementation of AI in accounting.
The hands-on training sessions were particularly useful as they allowed the participants to get a feel of working with Tally. The faculty coordinators of the workshop, Mr. Pratheep Kumar. R and Ganesh Kumar K. V. also provided valuable guidance to the participants.
