Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV) alumnus Aditya Raja (BA Applied Psychology (Hons.) 2021) delivered his second TEDx talk on the topic ‘Broken Crayons Can Still Colour’. Aditya was selected from a vast pool of applicants to speak at TEDx Queen’s University Canada. In his talk, Aditya laid emphasis on motivation, expressive writing, and the faith system. He aimed to provide a psychological framework of renowned psychologist Albert Bandura to drive self efficacy and self motivation. Also, he cited the Health Harvard article on expressive writing to stop emotional inhibition.
Aditya says, ‘I learnt from the best professors at Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth. The conferences and visiting resource person’s session had a profound impact on my journey. As a student of psychology, I picked up research lessons which intellectually stimulated me. I offer my gratitude to my University, my professors and mentors who have helped shape my educational journey.’
