Student Enrichment Programme on National Entrepreneurship Day

The School of Contemporary Knowledge Systems observed National Entrepreneurs Day on 21st November 2023 as an initiative of the CUSEC club. Ernakulam; Sri. Noby Joseph, Managing Director, Millennium Rubber Technologies Pvt. Ltd.Thrissur, Sri. Arun Mohanan and Mrs. Ragi Arun: Managing Partners, AR Electrotech-Ernakulam.

Entrepreneurship Development is a course in the B.Com./BBA curriculum. Such events provide students with insights from experienced entrepreneurs, apart from the theoretical knowledge they get from the course curriculum.

The course curriculum includes a module that provides a theoretical background of the role, challenges and barriers faced by entrepreneurs, especially in a nation like India. The talks helped to equip the students with the skills, mindset, and awareness needed to navigate the challenges of the real business world.

Dr. Ambily A. S. (Head, School of Contemporary Knowledge Systems), gave the welcome address. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by Prof. Ajay Kapoor, the honourable Vice Chancellor of CVV. Prof. T. Ashokan (Dean of Academics) made observations and remarks, and faculty coordinator Dr. Sanitha A. C. extended a vote of thanks.

Based on this session, the two entrepreneurs promised to provide an Industry visit and Internship opportunity for our students next semester.
