We are happy to share that our student K. G. Aditya Anshuman (third-year BBA) has won the 2nd prize at the 2nd International Philosophy Essay Writing Competition conducted by Philosophy Today.
They received 138 essay submissions from various universities across the globe. Some of the universities are of great repute which makes Aditya’s achievement even more significant.
His essay, which was a modified version of the term paper he submitted for his Minor Course (Introduction to Philosophy), was a critique of J. L. Mackie’s argument against the existence of an omnipotent, omnibenevolent God (popularly called ‘The Problem of Evil’ argument against God). He also submitted a short video to go with the essay.
This shows how Minor Courses provide a unique opportunity for our students not only to push their academic boundaries but also to achieve something of significance if they pursue it sincerely.
