‘Saṅgīta-Sañcintanam – Reflections on Art and Artistry’, a book by CVV was released on 26 October 2022 at the hands of the honourable Chancellor of CVV, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda at Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) during the convocation of the PG Diploma in Advait Vedanta students. The first copies were given to honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Kapoor and Dr. PN Prabhavathy (Assistant Professor, School of Kalayoga), one of the book’s editors. Pujya Swami Advayananda and Pujya Swami Sharadananda Saraswati blessed this occasion with their blissful presence.
‘Saṅgīta-Sañcintanam – Reflections on Art and Artistry’ is a collection of essays on various perspectives of music and dance. The authors are mostly performing artists, gurus, educationists and researchers. They include some topmost artists of Indian music and Padma awardees like Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Vidushi Prabha Atre, etc. Some articles were published in the souvenir of the Naada Bindu Festival in the past decade. The book is useful for all – connoisseurs, students and artists as well. It is the first book publication of CVV and is published by Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF). It is available for sale.
