Research Paper Presented at International Conference of the School of International Studies at JNU, New Delhi

Dr. Raisun Mathew, Assistant Professor of English at the CVV Institute of Science and Technology presented his research paper on the topic ‘If not India, then Who?: Sustainable Development Goals and Microcosmic Representations’ at the International Conference on ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future: Navigating Human Rights through the Lens of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ organised by the Human rights studies programme, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on 28th and 29th March 2024. The conference was sponsored by the National Human Rights Commission(NHRC), the Indian Council of World Affairs(ICWA). and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

Dr. Mathew highlighted the significance of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ connecting to the microcosmic representations of India and SDGs through the analysis of the insights on the Constitution of India and human rights. The technical session on ‘The Indian Constitution, International Diplomacy and Peace-making’ where he presented his research paper, was chaired by Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Gupta, Centre for Diaspora Studies, Central University of Gujarat, and co-chaired by Dr. Gaurav Tyagi, Special Centre for National Security Studies, JNU.
