Celebrating the 72nd Republic Day

Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth and Chinmaya International Foundation celebrated the 72nd Republic Day on 26 January 2021 with much enthusiasm. The event commenced with a march past by Narayan Baban Shete (second-year M.A. Sanskrit) at 08:30 am. The flag was then hosted by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Nagaraj Neerchal followed by the singing of the National Anthem by everyone present. In his address, the Vice Chancellor spoke about the constitution and its importance for democracy. Shri Sreenath Namboodiri (Asst. Professor, School of Ethics, Governance, Culture  and Social Systems) then spoke on the importance of India developing as a world economy.

The event was enriched by the patriotic song presented by Sreenidhi Sriram, Amol Jadhav and Avinash Chavhan, all students of CVV. Dr. Vinayak Rajat Bhat (Asst. Professor and Head, School of Vedic Knowledge Systems) delivered the vote of thanks. The event ended on a sweet note with the distribution of scrumptious laddoos.
