On the auspicious occasion of Adi Sankara Jayanti, Dr. Gauri Mahulikar conducted an hour-long OLA (Open Learning for All) webinar on the topic “Philosophy of Adi Sankaracharya”. This was the 12th session conducted in the premises of Adi Sankara Nilayam opposite the birth room of Adi Sankaracharya.
Dr. Mahulikar started the session by showing the participant the front and inside view of the illam which is the birth home of Adi Sankaracharya. Moving on, she began by explaining that Acharya Sanakra’s philosophy is three-fold. She went on to narrate the different stotrams composed by him and later spoke on the “Eternal principle of Advaita”.
She ended the session with a verse by Sant Kabir, “जलमें कुंभ कुंभ में जल, है बाहर भीतर पानी | फूटा कुंभ जल जल हि समाना यह तथ कथौ गयानी ||” and by reiterating that Adi Sankaracharya was truly a rejuvenator!
