National Conference on ‘Kerala’s Contribution to Vedanta’

Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) and Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV, deemed to be University), conducted a 3-day Hybrid National Conference on ‘Kerala’s Contribution to Vedanta’ at Adi Sankara Nilayam, Veliyanad, Kerala, from 2nd to 4th February 2024, with financial support from the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR). 

72 persons attended the conference on-site, while 39 attended online making the total attendees to be 111. Presentations were made in English, Sanskrit, and Malayalam. There were 33 on-site presentation and 07 online presentations. Among the presenters, 09 were invited speakers, 19 were faculty/research scholars and 12 were students.

The conference was jointly hosted by Prof. Gauri Mahulikar, Academic Director of CIF and Dr. Sunitha Grandhee, Dean. Lifelong Learning and Wellness and Director of the Center for Applied Indian Knowledge Systems at CVV, representing respectively CIF and CVV. Prof. Sachidananda Mishra of ICPR was present at the site to deliver the keynote address during the inauguration of the conference.
