Musical Session for CIRS Students Visiting CNBG

On 4th November 2023, the students of class XI from the Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS), Coimbatore, on a visit to the CNBG campus, were treated to a delightful and enriching musical session by the CNBG staff, along with alumnus Dipin Das, and second year M.A. Music student Athreya Gangadhar.

The hour-long session aimed to foster a deeper appreciation for music while offering students a unique platform to help make friends with music and engage with inspired individuals in the field.


  1. Alumni Showcase: Dipin Das, an esteemed alumnus, graced the session with his musical prowess on the tabla, captivating the audience with a short performance. His journey from being a student at CNBG to achieving proficiency in music served as an inspiration to the aspiring musicians in the audience, with whom Dipin played some rhythm games.
  2. Student Performance: Athreya Gangadhar gave a short performance. This added a vibrant and youthful touch to the session.
  3. Interactive Session: The session also included interactive discussions. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive valuable guidance from the faculty present.

The collaborative effort between CNBG staff, alumni, and students of CIRS created an atmosphere of encouragement and inspiration, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for music among the students.
The musical session, anchored by Ms Shobha Iyer, left the students of Standard XI at CIRS not only entertained but also motivated to explore the world of music further.
