Laxminarayana Puja at CVV

Leading up to the University Day celebrations of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, the traditional Laxminarayana Puja was held on 15th January 2024, on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, at the Onakoor facility.

The celebrations commenced with a series of rituals beginning at nine in the morning, culminating in the final ceremony at noon. This annual puja is an expression of gratitude to all who have contributed to the success of CVV, including the diligent workers at the construction of the new facilities. It is a way of thanking everyone associated with CVV and seeking divine blessings for the continued growth and prosperity of the institution.

Prof. Ajay Kapoor, Vice Chancellor, Prof. T. Ashokan, Registrar in Charge, and Dr. Apparao Mukkamala, Managing Trustee, N.M. Sundar, Executive Secretary, Ananthanarayanan Iyer, COO, Dr. K. Girishkumar, Dean, Dr. Sunitha Gandhi, Dean, faculty members and students actively participated in the festivities.

The celebration also included mahaprasad, signifying the blessings and abundance associated with the divine ceremony.
