‘No money, No mission!’ is a popular catchphrase. Several thousand donors have driven the creation and growth of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV), Deemed to be University. Every year, CVV conducts a grand puja and homa for honouring and thanking the CVV’s donors.
This year, on the occasion of Makara Sankranti, 15 January 2022, Swami Sharadananda conducted a magnificent Lakshmi Narayana Puja havan and puja for the health, well-being and prosperity of all the donors of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth. The names and family details of almost 19000 donors were placed in front of Mahavishnu, who was being worshipped in the form of Lakshmi Narayana. The puja commenced at 9:30 am and was followed by an elaborate homa.
Swamiji prayed that the world overcomes the pandemic, for the success of the endeavours of the Trustees, Vice Chancellor, faculty, staff and students of CVV and invoked the blessings of Bhagavan to ensure that all donors enjoyed a joyous and fulfilling 2022. Numerous donors joined the event on site and online.
