Krānti, the arts fest of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV) was held on 20 May 2023. The fest was organised by the Bharata Society, the cultural club of CVV. There were 21 offstage events and two online events.
The University students were divided into four houses and the competitions were held between these houses. The off-stage events were held intermittently from 9 to 20 May 2023. The on-campus fest was inaugurated on 20th May. Supreeta Dattathri (third year B.Sc. Applied Psychology) delivered the welcome address. Kunal Girish Seth (second year BBA) who is the 13th Senior National Drop Roball Championship Bronze medalist, and Gokul Gopakumar (second year M.Sc. Applied Psychology) who is a playback singer for movies, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Dr.Ashokan Thayyullathil (Dean—Academics) gave the presidential address while Dr. Pramod Dinakar (Head, School of Ethics, Governance, Culture and Social Systems) gave the felicitation speech.
The competitive events were Pencil Drawing, Water Colour Art, Cartooning, Story Writing, Poem Writing, Short Film, Photography, Impromptu Debate in English and Malayalam, Clay Modelling, Rangoli, Mehandi Designing, Extempore English, Light Music, Classical Music, Instrumental Music—string, wind and percussion, Folk Songs, Classical Dance, Group Dance, Monoact, Mimicry and Fashion Show. Team Vayu was the overall winner with 175 points and acquired the Krānti ever-rolling trophy. Team Agni, Prithvi and Jal got 125, 123 and 82 points respectively.
Advaitha Satheesh (first year BSc Applied Psychology) and Durga Manju Rajeev (second year B.Sc.Applied Psychology) were the MCs for the day. The faculty coordinator for the fest was Dr. P. N. Prabhavathy and the student coordinator was Supreeta Dattathri.
