On 25 February 2023, the Placement Cell of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth organised a Campus Fair in collaboration with team Jobs Omega at CVV’s Warriam Road Facility. The job fair aimed to provide job opportunities for students and alumni of the institute. 21 companies participated in the event. Around 400 job seekers including students attended the meeting. 15 students received multiple job offers.
The programme started at 10 am with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. N. M. Sharafudeen, the MD of Oscon Group, Shamil Sharafudeen, Director of the Oscon Group, and Dr. Rahul Sharma, Registrar, Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth. In his inaugural speech, Dr. N. M. Sharafudeen highlighted the importance of job fairs in today’s competitive job market and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunity. The companies that participated in the job fair included startups and established organisations such as JSW, Vivacristo, Byjus, Incheon Kia, Malabar Gold, Sacromento and Many more. They provided job opportunities for candidates with diverse skill sets and educational backgrounds.
In her vote of thanks, Sreevidya P., Placement Manager of Jobs Omega, thanked all the companies for their presence and the attendees for participating. She also expressed her gratitude towards the management of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth for their support and encouragement.
The job fair provided a platform for job seekers to interact with potential employers and explore various job opportunities. The event also helped students and alumni enhance their employability through workshops and seminars that honed their skills.
