Jabagadasash 4.0, the international inter-collegiate fest of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth was held on 24 February 2023.
After a year-long hiatus, Jabagadadash 4.0 was back with full enthusiasm and fervour. The theme for this year’s fest was ‘Bharat Ke Rang, Gen Z Ke Sang’. This year, the fest had an exciting mix of both online and offline events organised by the CVV clubs. The overall student coordinators for this year’s fest were S. Sarada (3rd year, BSc Applied Psychology) and Avani Prakash (3rd year, BBA), the sub-coordinator was Steve Romy (2nd year, BSc Applied Psychology) and the treasurer was Gautam Parmar (third year, BBA). The faculty coordinators for the event were Dr. Abha Mohan (Assistant Dean, School of Contemporary Knowledge Systems), Dr. Sandhya Shankar (Assistant Professor, School of Linguistics and Literary Studies), and Dr. Vishaka Venkat (Assistant Professor, School of Linguistics and Literary Studies).
A total of 284 students from almost 65 colleges participated in the fest, including both online and offline events. There were a total of 11 events, consisting of three online events and eight offline events.
The fest was inaugurated by Prof. Ajay Kapoor (Vice Chancellor, CVV), Dr. Sunitha Grandhee (Dean of Academics, CVV), and Shri N. M. Sundar (Executive Trustee, CVV). All of the participants and students were in high spirits and enthusiasm throughout the fest, and we received positive and encouraging feedback from the participants.
The associate sponsor for the event was Consulttech and the tech partner was Chungath Jewellery.
The overall winner of this year’s inter-collegiate fest was St. Teresa College, Ernakulam, and the memento for the most participants from a college was bagged by Mar Thoma College, Kollam.
