Inauguration of the Vedanta Sadhaka Course

The first Vedanta Sadhaka Course, organised by Chinmaya Mission in association with Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV) and Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, 15 October 2021, in the august presence of Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Chancellor CVV, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission and also the Mukhya Acharya for the one-year residential course. Also present on the occasion were the resident Acharyas of the Vedanta Sadhaka Course, Swami Advayananda and Swami Sharadananda, Regional Head of Chinmaya Mission Kerala, Swami Viviktananda, and Academic Director of CIF, Prof. Gauri Mahulikar.

The PG Diploma in Advaita Vedanta by CVV is a one-year residential course and will be conducted at Adi Sankara Nilayam, the maternal birth home of Sri Adi Sankaracharya.

Prof. Gauri Mahulikar welcomed the gathering. Swami Advayananda shared the details of the course and his insights on the significance of pursuing Vedanta. Pujya Swami Swaroopananda rendered the inaugural address. Swami Viviktananda delivered the felicitation address. Swami Sharadananda presented the Vote of Thanks after which the students of the course were given the Course Kit by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda.
