Holi Celebration

The students of CVV celebrated Holi, the festival of equality, at Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula campus, Pune, on 6th night, at ‘Prajna Pratishthanam’ (Warriam Road Facility), on 7th and at Chinmaya Eswar Gurukula Campus, Veliyanad on the 8th.

The students of the CNBG campus joined the Chinmaya Vibhooti residents on the 6th night to burn the negative qualities in our minds represented by Holika in a big bonfire. Each one wrote a negative quality that he/she wanted to get rid of, on a piece of paper, and offered it into the fire with a resolve to give it up.
On the next day, there was fun and frolic with colours, and everyone played with abandon, showering eco-friendly colours on one another.

At the Warriam Road Facility, the celebration started with the story of Holika by Nivedita Aiyar, a student of BSc (Hons.) Psychology. Br. Ved Chaitanya addressed the students. Further Anusuya and Anuswana (1st year BSc Psychology (Hons.)) and Miya and Namrata (1st year BCom (Hons.)) performed a dance.

At the CEG Campus music and fun games were arranged by Raj Bishnoi as a part of the celebration. Everyone danced and played with colours marking a memorable day. Supreetha Dathathri (BSc Applied Psychology (Hons.)), Kavitha Verma (IM Vyakarana), Rajesh Kumar (MSc Applied Psychology) were the student coordinators.
