The CVV team from Chinmaya Eswar Gurukula campus celebrated the day at Onakkur, the site for the new CVV campus. The honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Nagaraj K. Neerchal inaugurated the programme by planting saplings. Also present were Prof. Gauri Mahulikar, Dean of Faculty; Dr. Soumya S, Registrar i/c and Shri. CKS Nair, Manager-Chinmaya International Foundation.
Prof. Neerchal distributed saplings to the employees of CVV. In total, CVV planted and distributed 1000 saplings on this World Environment Day. The employees of CVV also took a pledge to protect the environment.
At the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula campus, students Dipin Das, Jeevan Mali and Sudha Bhat spent over two hours tidying the grounds by weeding the green areas and rearranging the pots.
