A Workshop on ‘Use of digital Resources in Research and Indic Studies’.
As a part of the Eminent Lecture Series (ELS), a monthly series of talks for students to gain knowledge beyond the courses they study, Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV) organised an online workshop on the ‘Use of Digital Resources in Research and Indic Studies’ on 05 May 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. The guest speakers were the Vyoma Sanskrit Brothers Dr. Venkatsubramanian P. and Vishwnathan P., COO and CEO of Vyoma Labs, respectively.
The session started with an invocation by Shashank C. G., followed by the welcome of the guest speakers by Rupal Shukla and Anjali Dwivedi (all third-year IM Advaita Vedanta students).
The Vyoma brothers shared different websites that one can access for Indian scriptures. He started by casting light on Indic Knowledge Systems and their relevance in our day-to-day life. After the session, there was an overflow of comments and questions from the audience which were discussed. It was a very informative and inspiring session.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ayush Sharma (Second-year B.A. Sanskrit). The workshop ended around 5:00 pm with a Shanti Mantra by Samana M. (Second-year IM Vyakarana.).
