Dr. Pavankumar Satuluri (Assistant Professor, School of Linguistics and Literary Studies) organised a special panel session on Computational Sanskrit and Digital Humanities: Digital Demonstration in the Computational Sanskrit and Digital Humanities section at the World Sanskrit Conference (WSC) 2023 held in Canberra, Australia, (online mode) on 12 and 13 January 2023.
Several papers were received for the demonstration session on several facets of Computational Sanskrit and Digital Humanities related to Sanskrit (Classical and Vedic), Prakrit, Pali, Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit etc.
Dr. Pavankumar chaired the first demonstration session on 12 January 2023. Five presenters demonstrated their software/tools like Sanskrit spell-checker, Sanskrit meter identification, semi-automatic e-readers for Sanskrit texts etc.
