Dipin Das (fifth-year, IM Music – Tabla) won the first prize at the Online National Youth Festival 2021 organised by Unifest Family, Patna, on 10 December 2021. The festival was in celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
516 musicians participated in 16 different streams. Of these, 250 were selected by renowned judges for the mega event.
Dipin participated in the category of ‘Classical Instruments – Percussion’. 13 were selected for the finals in this category and Dipin won the first prize. He played Peshkar, chaturasra jaati kaida, gath, chakradhar, tukda and rav compositions in taal Jhaptaal.
