Five of our Sanskrit students won prizes in various competitions held as a part of the 4-day Akhila Bharatiya Sanskrit Chhatra Pratibha Samaroha (All India Sanskrit Students Talent Festival) organised by National Sanskrit University, Tirupati. Students from over 20 universities from all over India participated in 16 academic, cultural, and sports competitions. CVV’s Sanskrit faculty Asst. Professor Maneesha S. accompanied the students.
The Samasyapurti gold medal was won by Alok Kumar (second year BA Sanskrit). Sandhra K. R. (third year BA Sanskrit) won the bronze medal in the Vyakarana Elocution while Vinamra Herle won the bronze medal in the Light Singing competition. Kavita Verma won the silver medal in the Sankhya-Yoga Elocution as well as in the Mono Acting Competition.
The group also enacted a Sanskrit drama during the festival. Kavita Verma got an opportunity to give her feedback about the event in the final session where she presented a beautiful poem written by her including some Sanskrit verses composed by Alok Kumar.
