On 16th January 2024, Dr. Anand Hareendran, Dr. Resmi, and Ms. Anupama Jims, faculty from the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Science and Technology, Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University (CVV-IST), participated in the IIC Regional Meet held in Kochi. The event was organised by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MoE’s IIC) in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The School of Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) graciously hosted the gathering.
The Regional Meet served as a platform for educators, researchers, and industry professionals to engage in discussions, share insights, and explore innovative practices in the field of education and technology. The event witnessed significant participation with over 200 representatives from institutions across Kerala and the south-west region. The event also reinforced the importance of collaboration between academia and industry to shape the future of education. The impressive turnout of over 200 representatives and the innovative projects showcased by 50+ teams added significant value to the collaborative spirit of the regional meet.
