The NSS unit conducted a cleaning drive at the Areekal waterfalls on 28th November 2023. 53 NSS volunteers joined in to collect all the non-recyclable waste which was then handed over to the Pampakuda Panchayat for scientific disposal. Through this activity, the importance of discipline was inculcated in the NSS volunteers and it also created awareness in the public about the importance of responsible tourism for maintaining the ecological balance in such places.
