Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Recognized for Promoting National Education Policy Initiatives through UGC’s NEP SAARTHI Program

Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, one of India’s premier higher educational institutions, has been selected as a beacon of excellence in promoting the National Education Policy (NEP) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the NEP SAARTHI initiative. The university’s dedication in implementing NEP guidelines has earned it the distinction of having three of its students among the select few chosen as UGC Student Ambassadors.

The NEP SAARTHI program, launched to encourage and endorse the best practices in line with the NEP, has identified and recognized outstanding universities across India. Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeetham stands out as an institution that not only adheres to the NEP’s principles but also actively fosters awareness among its students about the transformative goals of the policy.

In a significant achievement, three students from Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth have been included in the UGC’s list of Student Ambassadors, an initiative designed to empower and inspire students to participate in shaping the future of education in India. These three outstanding students are Mr. Shreerth K.K., pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in English for the third year, Mr. Steve Romy, a third-year student in B.Sc. Applied Psychology, and Ms. Niveditha P.K., a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).Through the NEP SAARTHI initiative, students like Shreerth, Steve, and Niveditha play a vital role in creating awareness among their peers about the policy’s objectives and addressing any concerns that may arise.
