Dr. Rajnish Kumar Mishra, Assistant Professor at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth was the chief guest at a vibrant Hindi Day celebration organised by Canara Bank, Regional Office Kochi, on 4th October 2023.
In a thought-provoking address, Dr. Mishra delved into the ‘Global Significance of Hindi and its Role as India’s Lingua Franca.’ He shed light on the growing global importance of Hindi and its profound role as a connecting language within India.
A significant highlight of the event was the felicitation of the winners from competitions held during the Hindi Fortnight, organised by Canara Bank. Dr. Mishra had the honour of presenting the awards to the talented individuals for their remarkable achievements.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Radha Sundararajan, Divisional Manager. It was further dignified by the presidential address delivered by Mr. A. Bharat Kumar, Assistant General Manager and Regional Head of Canara Bank Kochi.
