Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV) is a deemed to be university under the 'de novo' category recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university was established in 2016 by the Chinmaya Mission, a worldwide organisation founded by Swami Chinmayananda, and is located in Ernakulam, Kerala, India. It has its headquarters at the Chinmaya International Foundation (Adi Sankara Nilayam, Ernakulam) and has been established as a torchbearer for the preservation of India’s cultural heritage and knowledge traditions through higher education. The university aims to create a new generation of scholars and researchers who can contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge with a global mind that is rooted in India’s rich cultural heritage.

Founded on the principles of purity, practicality, spirituality, and innovation, CVV aims to inspire the world with diversity, integrity, sustainability, and excellence by blending the ancient and time-tested wisdom of India with present-day knowledge fields. The Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV) functions from two campuses: the Chinmaya Eswar Gurukula campus in Ernakulam, Kerala, and the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula campus in Kolwan, near Pune, Maharashtra.
Chinmaya Eswar Gurukula (CEG) Campus

Chinmaya Eswar Gurukula (CEG), the headquarters of CVV, is nestled in the captivating beauty of Kerala. Sprawled across a breathtaking ten-acre expanse, this picturesque campus is enveloped by verdant landscapes, adorned with enchanting temple shrines and serene lily ponds. Imbued with a vibrant energy that ignites the passion for excellence in students, as well as a tranquil ambience that beckons seekers of inner peace from across the globe, the CEG campus truly offers an unparalleled experience. The Ernakulam campus of the university has two facilities: (1) Onakkoor and (2) Warriam Road. The CEG campus is situated 47 km from Kochi International Airport and 28 km from Ernakulam South Railway Station.
Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula (CNBG) Campus
Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula (CNBG) campus is nestled within the expansive 70-acre precincts of Chinmaya Vibhooti, the esteemed vision centre of Chinmaya Mission. Located in the tranquil village of Kolwan, near Pune, at the foothills of the majestic Sahyadri mountain range, this enchanting campus provides a serene haven for students, performers, artists, and scholars hailing from across the globe. The CNBG campus is located around 50 km from Pune Airport and 45 km from Pune Railway Station.
