K Krishna Mohan

Professor K. Krishna Mohan has more than two decades of experience in teaching, research and project consultancy. He has worked in universities in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. He has visited the USA on academic assignments. Prof. Mohan’s research areas include  applications of Indian spiritual knowledge to mental health and well-being, health psychology and Indian Psychology. Prof. Mohan has taught courses in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Sciences and supervised masters and Ph. D students research projects.

Prof. Mohan has published many research articles in various international peer reviewed journals, book chapters and delivered keynote addresses, plenary speeches, lectures in various conferences across the world. He has received funding from US, UK and European and Indian agencies for research projects. During his long career Prof. Mohan has many achievements to his credit. He was the recipient of Prof. Yutaka Haruki Young Scientist Award 2003, Italy. He was the founder of the PsychGuru Mental Health Services Institute, INDIA/USA and The School of Mental Health at Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (VIMHANS), New Delhi, India. Prof. Mohan was a guest editor, reviewer for international journals and held positions in scientific and professional bodies in the US, Europe and Asia. Prof. Mohan is trained in psychotherapies rooted in Indian cultural and spiritual perspectives and has been conducting several workshops and sessions on spirituality and lifestyle, well-being and positive psychology. Prof. Mohan currently holds Honorary Professor position at the University of Flores, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is on the expert board of Shan You Academy, Singapore. He is an International Affiliate Member of  American Psychological Association.
