Prof. Vishweshwar P. Kallimani is a distinguished Senior Professor specialising in AI, ML, and knowledge management areas. He has a Ph.D. (CSc) from Nottingham University, UK. His Ph.D. work was on the knowledge management system (KMS), using AI, ML in process technology in the semi-conductor industry. He has a PG in CHE (post graduate course in higher education), M.E. (Electronics) from BITs, Ranchi campus, B.E. (E&C) from Bangalore University. 

He has  30+ years of experience as an academician in universities in India and abroad (Malaysia, UK, and Australia) in computer and electronics engineering domains. Also, as an engineer he has over five years of industrial experience in the telecom and energy sector in India.

He has worked at different levels such as vice chancellor, director, principal, dean, HOD, professor, senate member, chairperson, and consultant for university programmes in India and abroad. He has received national and international awards (Fellow from UK, and Dr. Maulana Abdul Kalam Award for excellence in Education, India). 

Professional Accomplishments are, as a committee Chairperson, I lead the team and developed Engineering, UG and PG programmes. As a Chairperson, Technical committee member, and adviser, organized many International Conferences, conducted various workshops on Knowledge Management, Mind mapping in India and abroad. He has been invited as a plenary speaker, chief guest in many conferences in INDIA and Abroad. In governance matters, developed the University quality manuals, policies, SOPs, and teaching innovations such as virtual teaching, labs, Initiated a student development programme.
