Ms. Kaviya Ramesh holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from the University of Madras. With a passion for fostering mental well-being, she has dedicated her career to educating students and supporting individuals in need. As a faculty at MS Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Kaviya successfully conveyed complex psychological concepts to postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds.
Beyond the classroom, Kaviya has actively engaged in community-based initiatives to promote mental health awareness. She has collaborated on projects aimed at improving the emotional well-being of disadvantaged adolescents, spearheaded the organisation of training programmes for school personnel, and conducted workshops on life skills for high school students. Kaviya’s counselling experience includes over 120 counselling sessions with adolescents and young adults, providing them with essential support to navigate challenges and enhance their resilience.
A creative individual, Kaviya finds solace and expression in digital design. Her current interests also extend to exploring the psychological aspects of creativity.
