Dr. Sayan Kumar Pal obtained his M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and Ph.D. degree from S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences (a DST research Institute) affiliated with the University of Calcutta in 2022. His research interests include quantum space-time and matter theories and their implications in low energy physics. Dr. Pal has taught students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels with an experience of 2 years including one year in a central university. He has 9 publications in international journals of high repute and a contribution to an edited chapter in a book. Dr. Pal’s expertise spans a wide variety of topics in theoretical physics such as quantum dynamics, astrophysics and gravity, statistical mechanics, etc. Currently, his research work is focussed on aspects of nonrelativistic geometries and their applications to condensed matter systems.
