Dr. Anurag Barthwal has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, supported by a fellowship from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. A university topper and gold medalist at PG, he has over 10 years of teaching experience in Computer Science Engineering coupled with corporate exposure in training and development. He has published two books, four book chapters,two patents, and more than 35 research papers in journals and conferences indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus, ABDC Journal Quality List and PubMed. He received a Best Paper award in 2014 and an award for Outstanding Teaching in 2022.
He is an Editor for PLOS ONE and the Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. He is a reviewer for more than 40 peer-reviewed journals, published by Nature, IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor Francis, SAGE, Emerald Publishing, BioMed Central, IOS Press, Inder Science and Bentham Science. His areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Internet of Things and Mathematical Modelling. He is a member of the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), The Indian Mathematics Consortium (TIMC), the Computer Society of India (CSI), the Systems Society of India (SSI) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
