The School of Linguistics and Literary Studies (LLS) is conducting a 3-day residential workshop on ‘Effective Translation in Indian Languages’ in collaboration with Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti from 22 to 24 December 2020. Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti is a high-powered committee for the promotion of Indian languages constituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The committee is mandated to explore and recommend pathways for the holistic and multi-disciplinary growth of Indian languages as envisaged in the National Education Policy 2020.
The objective of the workshop is to orient the participants towards the immense scope and significance of translation into Indian languages.
