We Think Digital: A Step Towards Digital Empowerment of Women

Digital literacy empowers women to take part in social causes, enables them to learn skills and helps in augmenting income and savings. Today, being literate is not enough. Literacy has now changed into digital literacy. Digital literacy has been defined as the ability of individuals and communities to understand and use digital technologies for meaningful actions.

‘We Think Digital: A Step Towards Digital Empowerment of Women’ is aimed at providing digital literacy training to 1,00,000 women across the nation. Its objective is to create digital leadership amongst women and help them use technology to empower. The programme has been designed with a focus on digital literacy and citizenship, addressing issues around privacy, safety, and misinformation.

Eligibility: The workshop is open to all aged 14 and above.

Objective: The workshop has been designed with the objective of creating digital literacy with a focus on addressing issues related to safety, privacy, and prevention of fraudulence. The workshop aims to inculcate awareness among the public for the management of information in a productive way in the digital world.

An E-Certificate will be provided by NCW to the participants who attend all the sessions.
