A Classroom for Every Learner: Practical Strategies for Making Learner-Centred Classrooms a Reality

February 15-14, 2020

The workshop titled ‘A Classroom for Every Learner: Practical Strategies for Making Learner-Centred Classrooms a Reality’, focuses on the application of different learner-centred teaching practices in the English Language classroom. The sessions will cover various aspects of implementing differentiated learning in your classroom including effective use of resources, classroom management, and motivational strategies, as you teach all four language skills (LSRW), vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.

Who Can Participate:

Secondary school teachers of English (grades 7-9). Teachers of other grades may also attend, but the content of the workshops will focus on the expected learning outcomes for these grades.

Costs and Facilities:

  • There is no registration fee to attend the workshop. For the first round of workshops in February, we can only register a maximum of 30 participants, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Lunch, as well as morning and afternoon tea, will be charged extra, at a total cost of Rs.250/- per participant.
  • The campus is fully vegetarian, so we request participants to not bring non-vegetarian food.
  • Participants coming from out of station can avail accommodation on the campus, inclusive of dinner and breakfast. Extra charges will apply.
