Government of India has initiated the day of श्रावणपूर्णिमा as Sanskrit Day and also the whole week (3 days before and after श्रावणपूर्णिमा) to be celebrated as Sanskrit week. And in the Indian tradition the month of Shravana has been considered as Sanskrit month.
We are happy to inform you that this year Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth is dedicated to celebrate the Sanskrit month from 2nd August 2019 to 30th August 2019. Various events related to Sanskrit are planned as below:
1. Competitions for Students – अन्त्याक्षरी, भाषणस्पर्धा, संस्कृतवार्तालेखनम्, वस्त्वभिज्ञानम् (Preliminary round) ,वस्तुस्मरणम् (Final round), योगसूत्रकण्ठपाठः (प्रथमद्वितीयपादौ), ग्रन्थाधारितः रसप्रश्नः(ग्रन्थः- Pride of India), एककगानम् (संस्कृतम्)
2. संस्कृतसम्भाषणशिबिरम् for interested students, staff members and faculty members – 19 August to 30 August 2019 – Monday to Friday 4.00 P.M. to 5 P.M.
3. अष्टावधानम् – by Prof.Ramakrishna Pejathaya- 28 August 2019 – 2.00 PM to 5PM
4.Valedictory of Sanskrit month celebration – 30 August 2019 – 4 PM to 5 PM
