Do you have a mind that is always curious and tickled by trivia? Are you a literature lover with a penchant for knowing things? Then we have something right up your alley!
As part of the Lit Magic 2020 celebrations at Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, we are organising Quiz for the Quixotic—a literature-themed Online Interactive Quiz on the 31st of July.
Come and get your grey cells churning. You will certainly be left spellbound!
Eligibility:
This quiz is open to anyone between 15-18 years of age.
Modality:
Online via Zoom.
Procedure:
- This is a ‘Lone Wolf’ quiz. Everyone must participate as individuals; no teams allowed.
- All registered participants will have to first attend the preliminary qualification round on 30 July. The top 6 scorers will qualify for the Finals on the 31st.
- You will be asked to upload proof of age if you qualify for the Finals.

- Prelims: 30 July | 11.00 am
- Finals: 31 July | 3.30 pm

You will receive a confirmation email with the link to join the Zoom session.
Important Rules and Requirements:
A. Prelims:
- All participants must be able to join the Zoom meeting for the Prelims. They must ensure stable and good internet connectivity before joining.
- Participants must switch on their videos and must ensure good lighting and good visibility on their end. No one else must be present in the same space with them. If they are not continuously visible on video for the duration of the quiz, their results will not be considered.
- Participants must complete answering the Prelims form within the required time. Forms will auto-submit once the time elapses.
- Network issues or drops on the participant’s side will not be considered a valid reason for allowing more time or extra attempts.
- Participants must not use outside help, such as referring to the Internet, or asking nearby friends or family, while attempting the quiz. If any such evidence is found, they will be disqualified.
- On any question, the Quizmaster’s decision will be final.
B. Finals
- All participants must be able to join the Zoom meeting for the Finals. They must ensure stable and good internet connectivity before joining.
- Participants must switch on their videos and must ensure good lighting and good visibility on their end. No one else must be present in the same space with them. If they are not continuously visible on video for the duration of the quiz, their results will not be considered.
- Network issues or drops on the participant’s side will not be considered a valid reason for allowing more time or extra attempts.
- Participants must not use outside help, such as referring to the Internet or asking nearby friends or family, while answering the quiz. If any such evidence is found, they will be disqualified.
- Participants must not speak out of turn, and must refrain from using gestures that suggest the answers.
- On any question, the Quizmaster’s decision will be final.
