Venue: Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, Veliyanad, Ernakulam, Kerala, India
Going beyond silos and contrived dichotomies, there is a need to view human development as a whole and in a context. The questions of human development embedded in harmony with the culture will enable us to iterate on the continuity of the Indian knowledge Systems, its present relevance and its integration with contemporary human development concerns. Thus, there is a need to reclaim the pasts and re-vision the future.
The international conference titled, ‘Human Development and Indian knowledge Traditions, proposes to examine the relevance and contributions on Indian Knowledge traditions in Health, Education and Well-being. We invite cutting edge and good quality papers and presentations on these tracks. The intention here is to be holistic and look at concepts and interventions that are translatable across the narrow scoping of age, caste, class and gender.
